Surrender to Virender

Over the years Indian Cricket has produced some great batsmens, we've had the CK Nayudu's, the Gavaskar's, the Tendulkar's, the Dravid's and many other great batsmen. But when it came to batsmen with highest scores in a test innings, India didnt have any player to challenge the mamoth scores of Lara, Bradman, Miandad, Gooch etc. The answer to this is Sehwag.
When watches Sehwag bat, his aggresive manner suggests that probably he is best at T2o's, ODI's. Yet it is astonishing to see that he always reserves his best for tests. Quite often Sehwag falls into the league of the big-hitters like Brendon McCullum or Chris Gayle. But, Sehwag is in a different league altogether. This is because Sehwag has a method to his madness. Already struggling with from, bowling to Sehwag today was the last thing Muralidharan needed. Sehwag read the doosra really well and reverse swept him repeatedly whenever he pitched it short, when he pitched it up-he just gave it a whack. It was one the best innings ever played.
